Sanctum Rewards 2026: How to Track LST Activity and Avoid Fake Claim Links

Sanctum Rewards 2026: How to Track LST Activity and Avoid Fake Claim Links

Sanctum’s best-known reward, the Wonderland “pets” that earned EXP for holding Solana liquid staking tokens, ended two years ago. It was converted into the CLOUD airdrop in July 2024. Yet “Sanctum airdrop” remains one of the most-used lures in Solana phishing, because the brand is everywhere: hundreds of LSTs, from jupSOL to bbSOL, run on Sanctum’s infrastructure. This guide covers what Sanctum is today, which rewards still exist (staking yield, INF, staked CLOUD), how to track them, and how to tell Sanctum’s real addresses from the copies.

What Sanctum does

Sanctum describes itself as the liquid staking protocol of Solana. It does not run a single staking token like Lido. Instead, it supplies the infrastructure that lets anyone launch a branded LST. Jupiter (jupSOL), Bybit (bbSOL), Crypto.com (cdcSOL) and Drift (dSOL) are among the partners, and the docs count more than 1,300 LSTs on the platform. Around those tokens, Sanctum runs three liquidity layers:

  • Router swaps one LST for another, or LSTs for SOL, through stake-account mechanics rather than thin AMM pools.
  • Reserve is a SOL pool, holding over 600,000 SOL according to the docs, that buys stake accounts or LSTs for instant SOL. Its fee is dynamic, from 8 to 800 basis points depending on how much of the Reserve is in use.
  • Infinity (INF) is a pool that holds a basket of many LSTs. INF holders earn the weighted staking yield of the basket plus the swap fees the pool charges.

Sanctum has also added institutional services: white-label staking, Gateway for transaction delivery, and the Ironforge DevOps platform. The main site is sanctum.so, the app is at app.sanctum.so, and documentation lives at learn.sanctum.so. The older docs.sanctum.so address may still appear in links.

Wonderland and the CLOUD airdrop: what already happened

Wonderland was Sanctum’s points game. Each supported LST had a “pet”. If you held at least 0.1 SOL worth of an LST, its pet appeared on your profile and earned EXP, 10 EXP per minute for every 1 SOL of value. Referrals and side quests added more. EXP from Wonderland Season 1 became the “Capital” part of the CLOUD airdrop after anti-sybil filtering. A separate “Earnestness” part rewarded community contributions reviewed by the team up to 1 July 2024.

CLOUD launched on 18 July 2024. Ten percent of the 1 billion supply went to those two categories, and the genesis distribution came to about 88 million CLOUD. The real CLOUD mint address begins CLoUDKc4. Check the full address in Sanctum’s app before trading anything called CLOUD.

The key point for 2026: holding an LST, buying INF, depositing in Kamino or Meteora, or keeping an old pet does not make you eligible for Wonderland Season 1 now. The snapshot is closed. At the time of writing Sanctum has not announced a new Wonderland season or a second broad CLOUD airdrop.

Rewards that still exist

Staking yield on LSTs

Every Sanctum-powered LST earns Solana staking rewards, which build into the token’s SOL value each epoch (about two days). The site advertises a headline SOL liquid staking APY, and individual LSTs differ by validator set and fees. This is the steady, protocol-level “reward”, and you do not need to claim it.

INF

INF grows from two sources: the weighted staking yield of its LST basket and fees from swaps routed through the pool. In volatile markets, when many people swap between LSTs and SOL, fee income can push INF well above the plain staking yield. Sanctum’s docs cite one epoch that annualized above 26%. In quiet markets the extra return shrinks. Sanctum released INF v2 in March 2026, and reporting at the time described a performance fee on yield. Check the current fee in the app before depositing.

Staked CLOUD

CLOUD holders can stake for governance. Staked CLOUD unlocks over a 30-day linear release when you unstake. Sanctum has also run separate Active Staking Rewards rounds for participating stakers, each with its own claim deadline. The first 2025 round closed for claims on 20 August 2025. A missed round does not roll over.

Choosing between LSTs

Because Sanctum hosts so many LSTs, the real choice is which one to hold. Three things matter more than the advertised APY. First, how many validators the LST delegates to, since a single-validator LST concentrates risk. Second, the fee the LST issuer takes from staking rewards. Third, whether the token is liquid enough to exit through the Router at close to its SOL value. Large partner LSTs and INF usually do well on all three. A tiny LST launched by a single validator or community may pay a little more but costs more to leave.

How to track your Sanctum positions

  1. Open app.sanctum.so from sanctum.so. Connect a Solana wallet such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack.
  2. Check LST balances by SOL value. The app shows each LST’s SOL exchange rate. Your token count stays the same while its SOL value rises, so note the rate when you buy.
  3. Track INF separately. The INF page shows the pool’s makeup and recent yield. Remember that part of INF’s return comes from fees and changes from epoch to epoch.
  4. Check staked CLOUD and reward rounds. The staking section shows your staked CLOUD, any unlock in progress and any Active Staking Rewards round open for claims.
  5. Choose your exit route carefully. Swapping an LST through the Router is usually cheapest. Instant unstaking through the Reserve costs 8 to 800 bps depending on use, and native unstaking takes until the end of the epoch.

Risks specific to Sanctum products

  • Validator risk inside each LST. Every LST delegates to its own validators. Poor performance or a future slashing regime on Solana would hit that LST’s SOL value. Branded LSTs differ a lot in how many validators they use.
  • Liquidity of small LSTs. With over a thousand LSTs, many are tiny. The Router depends on stake-account mechanics to price them fairly, but exits from small LSTs can still cost more than with jupSOL or INF.
  • Reserve fees in stress. The Reserve’s fee rises toward 800 bps as its SOL runs low, exactly when everyone wants out.
  • INF basket risk. INF holds many LSTs. A problem in any one of them, such as a bug or a badly run stake pool, affects every INF holder in proportion to its weight.
  • CLOUD lockups. The 30-day release on unstaking means staked CLOUD cannot be sold quickly if its price falls.

How to spot fake Sanctum claim links

Sanctum’s official addresses are sanctum.so and its subdomains (app, learn, docs), and the official X account is @sanctumso. Phishing usually targets Solana users with “CLOUD Season 2 airdrop” pages, “Wonderland EXP checker” pages, or “claim your pet rewards” pages on look-alike domains such as sanctum-claim or sanctumso.app. On Solana, drainers typically ask you to sign a transaction that hands over token-account ownership or bundles many transfers into one approval. Phantom and other wallets often flag these. Read the simulation before signing. A real Sanctum swap or stake only moves the tokens you entered, and a CLOUD transfer only involves the mint that begins CLoUDKc4.

FAQ

Can I still earn EXP for the CLOUD airdrop?

No. Wonderland Season 1 EXP was turned into the CLOUD airdrop in July 2024, and later activity does not count toward it.

What is the safest way to earn with Sanctum now?

Holding a widely used LST or INF gives you staking yield, plus swap fees with INF. Neither needs a claim.

How long does unstaking CLOUD take?

Staked CLOUD unlocks over a 30-day linear release.

Is there a new Sanctum airdrop?

None has been announced at the time of writing. Only trust an announcement that appears on sanctum.so or @sanctumso.

Verdict

Sanctum is core Solana infrastructure, not an airdrop campaign. Its points game paid out in 2024, and what remains is ordinary staking yield on LSTs, a fee-boosted yield on INF, and governance staking for CLOUD holders. That is enough reason to use the products, but not to chase links that promise “Sanctum rewards” outside the official app.

For information only, not financial advice. Liquid staking tokens carry validator, smart-contract and liquidity risk.
