The GRVT token is no longer a rumour. Grvt (pronounced “gravity”) held its token generation event on 30 July 2026, opened airdrop checking and claiming the same evening, and listed the token on several large venues within days. That changes what an airdrop guide should do. The question is no longer “how do I farm points” but “did I register, which batch am I waiting for, and how do I avoid losing tokens to an expired window or a cloned claim page”. This guide walks through exactly that.
What Grvt is, in one paragraph
Grvt is a hybrid derivatives exchange: it offers a centralized-exchange style order book and matching engine, while user balances and settlement live on its own zero-knowledge appchain built as a ZKsync Validium. Traders use it mainly for perpetual futures, but the platform also runs savings-style and strategy products (the “GRVT Strategies” vaults) inside the same account. Because the chain is a Validium rather than a rollup that posts all data to Ethereum, withdrawals to other networks follow ZKsync’s settlement cadence, which matters later when you move airdropped tokens off the exchange.

Where the airdrop came from: Season 1 and Season 2 points
Eligibility was earned through two points seasons. Season 1 rewarded early traders and depositors. Season 2 replaced it with a simpler weekly model in which a fixed pool of points was emitted each week and shared across active users. Grvt published the weights it used for that pool:
- Trading volume – 40% of weekly points. UI trades scored higher than API trades, taker volume higher than maker volume, and altcoin volume carried a 2x multiplier.
- Referrals – 20%, based on the combined activity of direct referrals.
- Open interest – 15%.
- Deposits / TVL – 15%, measured across the Trading account, Funding account and GRVT Strategies.
- Liquidity provision and liquidations – 5% each.
The weekly emission also scaled with exchange volume: Grvt’s own example was roughly 100,000 points in a $2B week and 125,000 points in a $4B week. Season 2 closed on 30 June 2026. Before TGE, Grvt raised the Season 2 share from 12% to 18% of total supply, taking the whole community and airdrop allocation from 22% to 28%.
The numbers that were actually announced
| Item | What Grvt announced |
|---|---|
| TGE | 30 July 2026, with checking and claiming opening that evening |
| Airdrop pool | 280 million GRVT (28% of supply) |
| Season 1 share | 100 million GRVT |
| Season 2 share | 180 million GRVT |
| Release | In batches over 12 months |
| Destinations | GRVT account, BNB Smart Chain or Ethereum |
| Claim window | 30 days per unlocked batch; expired batches are not reissued |
Grvt has not published per-wallet allocations publicly; your number is only visible after connecting to the official reward portal. Anything claiming to show “estimated GRVT per point” from a third-party site is guesswork.
Registration, the claim-or-delay choice, and why it mattered
Grvt did not simply snapshot wallets and push tokens. Users had to register for the airdrop, accept the terms and pick a receiving destination. Two details from that registration step still shape what you see today.
The 17 July cutoff. Users who registered and chose a destination before 17 July 2026 had their first batch distributed automatically. Anyone who registered after that date has to claim each batch manually in the Reward Portal.
Claim now or delay. At registration Grvt offered a choice: take the allocation from TGE, or postpone the claim in exchange for a larger share, with reports describing up to a 4x increase for the longest delay. The choice was final once made. If your portal shows a smaller-than-expected first batch or a later unlock than a friend’s, check which option you selected before assuming something is wrong.
The registration window itself has closed. The help center originally listed 27 July 2026 (00:00 UTC) as the deadline, and later exchange-news coverage cited a closing time in early August. Either way, a missed registration cannot be reopened, and there is no “late registration” service anywhere.
How to check eligibility and claim, step by step
- Type the domain yourself. Open grvt.io directly, then go to the Reward Portal (the help center links it as grvt.io/exchange/reward-portal). Do not arrive via a reply under a Grvt post or a sponsored search result.
- Log in with the same account you traded with. Points were tied to your Grvt account and its linked wallet, so a fresh wallet will show nothing.
- Read the vesting view. The portal shows your full schedule: which batches have unlocked, which are pending, and the claim deadline for each.
- Claim each batch inside its 30-day window. If you registered after 17 July, nothing arrives automatically. Put the next unlock date in your calendar; the help center states plainly that Grvt cannot make exceptions for missed windows.
- Pick the destination deliberately. Tokens sent to your GRVT account arrive in roughly 20 minutes and internal transfers are instant and free. Withdrawing to Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain takes at least 3–6 hours because of ZKsync’s minimum settlement delay, so a “pending” status in that range is normal.
- Know the account boundaries. Airdropped GRVT cannot be moved straight into the Perpetual Trading account, so do not panic if that transfer option is missing.

After the claim: listings and what to expect
GRVT began trading in early August 2026, with coverage noting OKX’s pre-market perps product, Binance Alpha, Bybit and Coinbase among the venues. Because the airdrop unlocks in batches across a year, new supply reaches recipients every time a batch opens, and holders who chose the delay option receive theirs on a different schedule from those who claimed at TGE. If you plan to sell or hold, it is worth knowing that rhythm rather than reacting to each unlock headline.
Grvt has also said its post-TGE roadmap includes stable-funding perpetual swaps and a unified-margin RWA vault. At the time of writing there is no announced Season 3 points program; treat any “Season 3 airdrop” page that is not on grvt.io or the help center as unverified.
Risks specific to the GRVT claim
- Expiry risk. The biggest real loss so far is not hacks but missed 30-day windows on manual claims.
- Bridge timing. Withdrawals out of the Validium take hours. Scammers exploit that delay with “speed up your withdrawal” messages; no such service exists.
- Exchange custody model. Grvt’s order book is operated by the company even though settlement is on-chain. Holding a large GRVT balance on the exchange means trusting that operator and the appchain’s proof system.
- Market risk from unlocks. Twelve months of batched releases mean recurring sell pressure from recipients. That is a market factor, not a reason to rush a claim through an unverified site.
- Regional terms. Accepting the airdrop terms was part of registration. If your jurisdiction is excluded by those terms or by the exchange’s own restrictions, using a VPN to get around them can lead to a forfeited allocation.
Spotting fake GRVT claim pages
Grvt’s claim flow lives only on grvt.io. Common fakes after the TGE include lookalike domains (extra letters, “gravity” spelled out, or a different TLD), “GRVT Season 3 checker” sites, and replies under @grvt_io offering a “missed registration recovery”. Practical rules:
- The legitimate portal never asks for a seed phrase or private key, and never asks you to “approve” an unknown token contract to receive GRVT.
- Grvt cannot extend an expired batch, so any page or DM promising to do so is fake by definition.
- Help-center support works through help.grvt.io; support staff will not message you first on Telegram or Discord.
- Check the token contract on BNB Smart Chain or Ethereum against the address shown inside the official app or help center before adding it to a wallet. Spoofed “GRVT” tokens appear in wallets as unsolicited airdrops.
FAQ
I traded on Grvt but never registered. Can I still claim?
No. Registration and acceptance of the terms were required, and the window has closed. Grvt has said it cannot make exceptions.
Why did my first batch not arrive automatically?
Automatic delivery applied only to users who registered and chose a destination before 17 July 2026. Later registrants claim each batch manually in the Reward Portal.
Can I switch from “claim now” to “delay” or back?
No. Grvt said the choice could not be changed after it was made.
Why is my withdrawal to Ethereum taking hours?
Moving tokens off the Grvt appchain follows ZKsync’s minimum settlement delay, which the help center puts at 3–6 hours or more.
Is there a Season 3?
Nothing has been announced at the time of writing. Watch grvt.io and @grvt_io rather than aggregator sites.
Verdict
The GRVT airdrop is real, sized at 280 million tokens and paid out in batches over a year. For anyone who registered, the job now is administrative: log in to the official Reward Portal, read your vesting schedule, claim every batch inside its 30-day window and send tokens only to destinations you control. For anyone who did not register, there is nothing to recover, and every site that says otherwise is a scam. Token prices and exchange access can change quickly, so treat any decision to hold or sell as your own risk.
